Managing Safe Interactions Between Dogs Webinar
This veterinary approved webinar is most suitable for canine professionals who run dog day-care centres, work in rescue or for dog walkers who may wish to integrate dogs safely. It may also be of interest to those who are studying canine behaviour or for dedicated dog owners who wish to get another dog and be able to introduce them safely. The webinar has been written and designed by a qualified and working clinical animal behaviourist and experienced registered veterinary nurse.
The webinar is broken down into bite-sized lessons, accompanied by multiple learning processes, including some written content, demonstration videos, external resources, recommended reading and scientific references. There is a self-directed task that I have suggested for you but this is not a marked piece of work. It has been designed to help you bring together and apply some of the knowledge you have acquired throughout your studies on this course. I have included some of my feedback and thoughts so you can see how you did.
There are no exams but to obtain your certificate you must answer a few multiple choice questions at the end of the course.
Course aims:
- Learn the benefits of play as well as the pitfalls that can arise if introductions are not carried out safely.
- Learn canine communication signals and provide you with a sound foundation for being able to recognise when interactions are positive and when to be concerned.
- Tips for how and when to intervene are covered along with a range of ideas that can help engage a dog if they do not fit into a group or indeed who may not be able to integrate with others safely.

- Dark Mode: Reduces eye strain in low-light environments. Toggle it from the sidebar panel (top-right icons).
- Reading Time: Each topic shows an estimated reading time in the toolbar so you can plan your study sessions.
- Auto-Generated Subtitles: Available on all of our videos (approximately 95% accurate). Enable them using the CC button in the video player.
- Video Transcripts: Text versions of video content with timestamps, allowing you to follow along or revisit specific sections.
- Adjustable Playback: Video quality adjusts automatically based on your connection. Use the gear icon for manual control, or adjust playback speed to suit your pace.
- Feature Boxes: Key information is presented in visually distinct boxes, helping break down content and improve focus for neurodivergent learners or those with reading difficulties.

Very Useful
I'm starting to organise some puppy classes/socialisation events in the practice I work in, this is a very useful course to give the knowledge to start organising and structuring these events
Informative
I’ve now completed a number of courses from this website, all are very informative, clear to follow & explain all aspects in great detail - I will be back for more & most definitely recommend
Very clearly delivered
Very helpful that the theory is backed up with videos. This visualisation made it easy to retain relevant warning signals and how to deal with them. A really useful course to have done for my home boarding business.
